13/02/2008 - Roseland Theatre - Portland After trudging through the pouring rain, I had the privilege of seeing EDITORS perform at the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon on February 11. I can’t believe that this band is still playing such small venues, but I was lucky to catch them in such an intimate setting. Seeing EDITORS live for the first time, I was blown away by their spectacular stage presence and musicianship; this is a band that you must see live in order to appreciate fully. Tom was all over the stage (and the piano at some points), and his voice is so powerful live.
07/02/2008 - Editors 94.7 Session - Pre Show Hi!
Dana Thompson 07/02/2008 - Denver Greetings! I wasn’t familiar with the Editors’ music, but the band’s Denver show happened to fall on my birthday, and I was familiar with the two opening acts, Hot Hot Heat and Louis XIV. So I told my wife it’d be a fun way to spend my birthday. Well, we enjoyed the two openers, but the Editors blew us away. The band’s sound system was so loud, it made the hairs on my arms move. But even at its most frenzied, the music was crystal-clear; every note, every beat, even Tom Smith’s breaths between lines were not only distinct in the mix, but I could place them spatially. The light show was, by far, the biggest and best I’ve ever seen at the Ogden Theatre. And the band’s style and songs were great. I went out that weekend and picked up *The Back Room* and *An End Has a Start*. Terrific stuff! Thank you, Editors, for an excellent birthday party. (I never even knew you cared!) Delvin Neugebauer 07/02/2008 - New York - Terminal 5 Naysayers would call the line up of The Editors / Hot Hot Heat / Louis XIV a bunch of former buzz bands trying to break it back into the business. Fans would call it a bunch of former buzz bands still holding strong and holding their own. After last nights performance by all three acts at New York City’s Terminal 5, all the naysayers can quickly shut their mouths.
Salvatore Bono 07/02/2008 - Detroit show - The Majestic Theatre 1/26/2008 This was a show that blew me away! My 11yr. old niece and I waited in the freezing snow to get in and take our place in the front. It was amazing. Great performance and energy, sound was perfect. This was our first Editors show. I’ve only discovered Editors this past summer with the release of the single An End Has A Start. I loved it so much I bought both albums! I’m so glad I was able to catch this show. Breathtaking to say the least! Thank you for coming to the motor city! Come again the next time around, We’ll be waiting. Maria Franco
07/02/2008 - House of Blues, Orlando Editors opened the set with my personal favorite Editors song, “Bones.” Bassist Russell Leetch was far more impressive in person than he is on live video. Never using a pick and playing driving bass (my style of bassing), he tore up and down the fretboard and moved all around the stage, evoking a mobile Adam Clayton of U2.

04/02/2008 - Denver saw the Editors in Denver Feb. 1st! I will remember that night forever! The crowd was so into all the songs. I met two wonderful ladies there in the front row and they became my best friends! I couldn’t believe that I was in the front row inches from Tom. He really puts on a show. The sound quality was the best out of any show I’ve ever seen! I can’t wait to see them again and again!!! Andrew Edwards 29/01/2008 - Philadelphia Just wanted to say, we were at the Editors gig in Philadelphia last week and you blew us away. Being Brits far from home, it’s a real comfort when UK bands make it over here, and it’s the icing on the cake when they also give you a gig to remember. I was dancing around and whooping like a lunatic- which was only partly due to the fact we were right next to the bar. We just missed the Philly gig last time as we moved here a week later, so were soooo pleased when we heard there was going to be another one. Thanks guys, come back soon..don’t be a stranger....
28/01/2008 - Montreal A dream… January 20, 2008. 5 days before my 21st birthday. The best birthday gift ever: seeing my favorite band live. 5:30: already in front of the Clud Soda. We want the best: front row, nothing less! Excitment is at its highest level: I still can’t realize I’m seeing Editors live tonight. 9:40...here they are. Russell, Ed, Chris and Tom are in front of me. I’m almost crying of happiness.’Bonsoir’ Oooh...Tom can speak french, so sweet! Bones(wow...I still can’t believe they’re live in front of me). An End has a start(Electric!). All Sparks(wouha. So beautiful!). Bullets (let’s rock!). Escape The Nest (Still can’t believe it.....). The weight of the world (How can they be so good?).Lights (Oh wow! Oh wow!).Blood (Could they be better?...no!). When anger shows (so intense...so beautiful...). Spiders (Piano. Wouha. ‘Hold out your hand’). The Racing Rats (Tom at his best). Munich (I’m starting to believe it...) ‘Editors! EDITORS! Editors!!!’ ‘Merci. Thank you.’ You are fading (Oooh. I didnt know this song...I looove it!). Smokers outside the hospital doors (my favorite song. I’m crying. It’s perfect. Happy birthday to me.). Fingers in the factories (let’s rock for one last time...Wouhaa...wait...Tom is playing guitar at a distance of 2 inches from my face...wouhaaa!). ‘Merci...’ :(. I can’t believe it’s over. It was so perfect. Now let the perfect dream continue...Can I meet Tom Smith? Let’s try, eh! It’s -30 outside. But for me, meeting Tom Smith would be like meeting like...Elvis??? So we waited. 1h30 later: Here they are. Tom and Russell, so adorable! I can’t believe I’m chatting with Tom Smith. I’m really emotionnal. ‘I love you so much. You’re my best birthday gift...’ ‘Oh happy birthday’(love the british accent). And the hug. And the smiles. And all these memories from the show. Was it a dream, tell me?” By Raphaëlle Corneau
25/01/2008 - Montreal - January 20th 2008 It was a cold day and my mate and I, as we worked in a radio station, had to go see Editors, but firstly we had to interview Chris. It was really nice, as we really like Editors music since their debut album released in 2005. Then we went to the gig which was amazing and I took some pics which I’m quite proud of right now.
