Here are some of my photos from the amazing concert at Brixton Academy on 8th October (which also happens to be my birthday so it was a doubly exciting day!)

Well, my 3rd Editors gig & what can I say? Little did I know this was to be quite a night!

Managed to get hold of next of stage balcony tickets & although for some being ‘in amongst it’ is the way to go, I was delighted to get balcony tickets. Those who have been to the Carling before will know what I mean!

The guys roared onto stage around 915pm & straight into ‘An End Has A Start’ which went down a storm. Perfect opener to get the crowd going as if they needed to!

The set was a perfect mix of old & new with crowd favourites Munich, All Sparks & Blood mingling perfectly with the new album tracks such as ‘Bones’, When Anger Shows & new single ‘The Racing Rats’ which is an amazing track in a live setting. A really nice surprise was also included as Tom introduced the next song as ‘our new B-side’ which I believe was ‘Banging Heads’. This was an exclusive for me as I hadn’t heard it before & was very impressed. Great tune.

The penultimate track of the night ‘Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors’ had a great surprise intro for me as Tom sings the opening lines ‘acapella’ before the drums kicked in & that just blew me away!

‘Fingers In The Factories’ then completed what for me was one of the best gigs i’ve been to in a long time. A fantastic end to the night & the icing on the cake was meeting Tom afterwards. I was quite impressed as he was very polite & gracious & was more than happy to sign some stuff & pose for pics.

A perfect end to a perfect night. Roll on February!

At last is Saturday, the concert begins at eight.
We arrived at the Joy Eslava’s, my friends at the front door, I was in the guest, to collect my photo pass, I feel the nerves inside of me after so much waiting for the day to come. The time is Freezing , but can barely feel it. We went after a short delay and How I Become The Bomb starts his set! These guys are the most fun and live sound very good. After these made their appearance The Boxer Rebellion, very good, great songs certainly hope to return soon to Spain.
The boys from Boxer Rebellion beginning to pick up his team and now, it’s time to Editors.
The lights turn off, people shout his name. Finally appear, and all we become crazy!

Tom say hello to all, in Spanish, take a look at the room and begin the note for “Lights” . People joins Tom and sing with him!! I feel so happy this moment.

The band continued with “Bones” after “Bullets”, “An End Has A Start"…
Thegreat thing is that there is great mutual understanding among them, it is great to see a group so united.
The best moment came with the last two “Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors” and the grand “Fingers In The Factories”, sang, jumped and Tom looked with absolute thrill, send kisses to the audience, without stopping to feast with their crazy movements.
Russ smiled nonstop, Ed gave everything and Chris was sublime. It’s an incredible musician, I love his way to play guitar.

The concert finish, I feel good and bad at the same time, I want the time back and the concert starts again. 

We left the room to find out the guys, after waiting an hour, in that cold night, finally came out and we thank you for another wonderful concert. They so excited and modest as ever.
Editors are the best.

Editors gig 21st of October, another fantastic gig from the guys and yet it managed to top off the previous gig in Glasgow at the famous Barrowlands.
From strength to strength they grow, previous gigs were great as they blasted out ‘The back room’, and it is now they fit in both albums, hearing their current and past singles and watching the fans embrace their tunes!
Keeping the crowd bouncing with ‘Munich’ and ‘All Sparks’, watching as Tom does his most famous arm movements - all in all a great gig gauranteed.
Each year the crowd grows, and the more we want to see Editors come back, from a younthful bunch to a older generation ; pulling in the crowd with a music which aims at all ages - Editors again providing great gigs after gigs.
I have attached a few pictures in which i took at the gig in the Carling, and i shall be hoping to get move pics in February in Glasgow and Blackpool! :)
